Classic Comfort.


Tonight I wanted to make something quick & easy, so I decided to make a classic turkey meatloaf! A turkey meatloaf is a quick because all you do is mix the ingredients together & then bake for an hour. (For even faster… you can prepare the meat mixture the night before and leave it in the fridge & put it right in the oven when you get home from work.) I chose corn on the cob as a side, but mashed potatoes would go great. I just didn’t have the time.
What you will need:

  • 2lbs of ground turkey
  • Salt/Pepper
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1/4 cup of mustard
  • 1/2 shredded cheese

Preheat oven at 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in bowl except the cheese.

After meat mixture is all mixed together, place mixture into a baking dish and form together tightly. Make an indent on the top of the meat and sprinkle the cheese in the middle.

Next boil a pot of water for the corn on the cob.

Let corn cook for 25 minutes and let the meatloaf cook in the oven for an hour.

Remove meatloaf from oven & let cool for one minute.

Time to eat!
